Staff and COVID Updates

Staff Updates:

We welcome our new registrar for the year Dr Andrew Hawkes who is locally raised and trained. He has been working in Cairns for the last 12 months so is not new to the area.  We intend to keep him very busy.

He will join our long-established doctors, Dr Mark Laws, Dr Elizabeth Martin, Dr Michael Smith, Dr Premlata Mantha, Dr Kayley Baxter, Dr Lucas Prove.

We welcomed towards the end of last year a new Registered Nurse Narrelle.  Narrelle has an interest in chronic disease assessment.  You may have already received a follow up call from her.

COVID Updates:

The Queensland Government has set up a traffic light level, based on the current level of risk to the community.  These levels will impact our covid instructions and the wearing of face masks.

Please do not enter the surgery if you have flu like symptoms, fever, cough, sore throat, fatigue, runny nose, shortness of breath, loss of smell, loss of taste, diarrhoea, vomiting or nausea.  We ask you to wait in your car and contact us via phone.
